How it all started
In the late 1990’s Patrick Lemare and Hervé de Grandry identified major challenges in Information systems. In October 2000, they created Xsarnet, an IT services company specializing in major workstation-based projects in the banking and administration sectors. Since that date, the company decided to spend between 20 and 25% of its turnover on R&D. In 2003, the company implemented what became Contextor at Bouygues Telecom. For Bouygues Telecom as a company and their 3000 customer service reps, it brought integration of the CRM system with other business applications.
In October 2006, Contextor became the first software on the market to able to deliver a custom-tailored workstation without modifying existing applications. From 2006 to 2009, the company showed a steep and continuous growth with solid references. Contextor became the leading European software solution on the market for context-aware workstations.
Now, with new shareholders, Xsarnet has been renamed Contextor to promote Contextor solutions internationally. The company records three digit growth and business perspectives for the coming years are extremely positive.
